Privacy Policy

Overview

IdleWatch ("the app," "we," "us") is an idle collector game about pulling, trading, and displaying watches. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with. It applies to the IdleWatch mobile app only.

Information we collect

• Game data: your collection, progress, and settings are stored on your device. Cloud saves and gameplay information are also stored on our servers to support recovery, synchronization, and anti-cheat checks.
• Player profile and gameplay activity: your player ID, display name, gameplay stats, marketplace listings, and trades are processed so the player-to-player Market, leaderboards, and other online features work. Public profile information, listings, and leaderboard entries can be visible to other players.
• Game Center info, if you connect it: your Game Center player ID and display name, used to give you a verified identity on the Market.
• Purchase information: in-app purchases are processed by Apple's App Store and our payments partner, RevenueCat, to deliver gems to your account. We never see or store your card details.
• A push notification token, only if you enable notifications.
• Email account information, if you create an account: your email address is used for sign-in and account recovery.
• Support and player reports, if you send them: we process the information you provide to respond to requests and investigate reported behavior.
• Advertising data: Google AdMob processes device, network, ad-interaction, and diagnostic information to provide optional rewarded ads. Consent choices are requested where applicable.
• Ad measurement in versions with the Meta SDK: only if you allow both Meta ad measurement and tracking in Apple's permission dialog, Meta receives app-install, app-open, and automatically logged purchase events, along with device, advertising identifier, and network information, to measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram advertising. If you decline Apple's tracking request, Meta ad measurement stays off. We do not send your email address, Game Center identity, or player account ID to Meta through this integration.

We do not request access to your precise location. Our advertising partners may infer an approximate location from network information such as your IP address.

How we use it

To run multiplayer features (the Market and leaderboards), verify and deliver purchases, provide account recovery, detect exploits that would unbalance the in-game economy, deliver optional rewarded ads, measure our advertising, and — if you've enabled them — send gameplay notifications.

Who we share it with

We use Supabase (backend hosting), RevenueCat (purchase processing), and Apple (App Store payments and Game Center). We also share the advertising information described above with Google AdMob and, where enabled, Meta. Retention & your choices

You can manage rewarded-ad consent through More > Settings > Google Ad Privacy Options (called Ad Privacy Options in earlier versions) where that option is available. Change Apple's tracking permission in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Declining tracking keeps Meta ad measurement and advertising identifier collection off. Gameplay does not require either permission.

Meta ad measurement is optional and requires both Allow measurement in its separate notice and Apple's tracking permission. Choose Don't allow under More > Settings > Meta ad measurement to stop future automatic measurement. This choice is saved on your device and is not transferred through your game account or cloud save. Neither this choice nor Google ad consent overrides a denial of Apple's tracking request. Turning measurement off does not remove events already received by Meta; contact us below for data requests.

Local data stays on your device until you delete the app. Use More > Profile > Delete Account to request deletion of your player account, or email the address below for help with deletion of server-side player data.

Our support website

Our support and privacy pages do not use cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics scripts. Links to other companies' websites open those companies' pages, which have their own privacy policies.

Children's privacy

IdleWatch is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
